On behalf of the government, the National Property Board Sweden (SFV) manages our common natural and cultural heritage. We manage a diversity of state-owned properties – including government buildings, courts, castles and royal estates, theaters, museums, embassies, and one-seventh of the country’s area consisting of forests and land.

We in the project portfolio unit are a team of specialists who work closely with the construction projects we support in our various areas of expertise such as controlling, budgeting, construction processes, and workplace environment issues.
Your role
As a project controller, you are at the center of events and contribute to the successful outcomes and profitability of construction projects. You act as a support to our project managers in all financial matters in ongoing projects and have a broad contact surface both within the authority and towards our contractors. The work is very varied and includes cost monitoring, forecasting, analysis, and reporting.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who has:
- At least four years of experience working with financial management in construction projects in the role of controller
- Knowledge of and experience with how a construction process and a project organization functions
- Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing
Meritorious:
- Higher education in economics, construction, or real estate
- Experience in financial management in large and complex construction projects
- Knowledge of LOU

You work in a structured manner and have the ability to organize and plan your work well and complete it within given time frames. You enjoy being part of a project organization and collaborating with a focus on the common goal.

You will be employed as: Project Controller
Employment type: Special fixed-term employment, twelve months.
Start date: Between August 17 and September 1, 2026, by agreement.
Location: Stockholm
Possibility for remote work: Yes, there is an opportunity to work part of the time remotely.
Before a decision on employment is made, a security review according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may be conducted. If the employment concerns a position in a security class, the security review will also include a background check, and in some cases, Swedish citizenship is required.
The National Property Board operates in industries exposed to various risks of irregularities; therefore, there are positions where suitability assessments are conducted as a preventive measure.
