We are currently looking for an IT support technician focused on hardware management for an assignment in a well-established public organization. The role involves working in an environment where quality, service, and structure are central parts of daily work. The assignment is suitable for those at the beginning of their careers who want to develop within IT support in an organization with many users and varying needs.

In this role, you will be responsible for the circular management of hardware, which means you will check, prepare, and if necessary, decommission IT equipment such as computers and other technical devices. The work includes functional testing, cleaning, and preparing devices for reuse by new users. You will also provide support via phone and ticketing systems, as well as staff a support desk where you assist users on-site. The role also includes physical support efforts in various operations. The work is primarily on-site and may involve evening work in some cases.

• Previous experience equivalent to a junior level in IT support

• Driver's license (B)

• Good communication skills in speech and the ability to convey knowledge clearly

• Understanding of the importance of high service levels and a professional approach

• Ability to handle and communicate in time-critical situations

• Location: Täby

• Remote work: No

• Extent: Full-time, 40 hours/week

• Assignment period: June 8, 2026 – August 21, 2026 (with the possibility of extension up to a total of 6 months)

• Working hours: Daytime, some evening hours may occur

• Work takes place on-site in the organization's premises

• A criminal record check is required before the start of the assignment by the client
