About the Position

We are looking for an Archivist to support a project 'Digital Preservation within HR' that started in the autumn of 2025. To strengthen this project organization, we are now seeking an archivist with a digital focus. You will work closely with the project manager to assist with archival issues in the project. As an archivist with a primarily digital focus, you will participate in most tasks related to digital preservation, such as ensuring information quality in data exports from supplier systems, structuring and packaging archive packages, and developing xml/xsd schemas according to established standards.

In connection with exports, you will work closely with management leaders, system administrators, and suppliers, and you may need to produce preservation and disposal investigations that result in both a preservation report and the preparation of preservation and disposal proposals. You may also need to drive and support management leaders in the work of developing preservation plans.

Other Common Tasks:

  • Map and analyze the information within each HR service from the perspective of preservation and disposal.
  • Support the work by developing preservation plans for each system included in the respective HR service as required by the Regional Archive.
  • Propose processes for a cohesive case image prior to storage and transfer to interim archives or the Regional Archive.

Within the project, the handling of preservation information from systems that are being phased out is also managed, as well as data extraction from existing systems that should be digitally preserved in interim archives or final archiving at the Regional Archive.

Assignment Period and Scope

The position of Archivist is a full-time consulting assignment starting on 2026-04-16 and is expected to last until 2026-12-31, with the possibility of extension for an additional 12 months.

The work will primarily be performed in the office (at least 60%) as access to other employees and resources is required. Other circumstances may affect this.

Requirements for the Position:

  • Completed a higher education course/program in archival science/information with a passing grade.
  • At least 1 year of documented experience in producing preservation and disposal investigations.
  • At least 1 year of documented experience in producing preservation plans and/or preservation investigations/reports.
  • At least 2 years of documented experience in packaging archive packages.
  • At least 2 years of documented experience in producing domain specifications such as xml/xsd schemas.

To enable us to move you forward in the process, you need to clearly state in your CV that all the above requirements are met. Indicate which assignment(s) demonstrate the requested experience. The time period should be stated in year and month YY-MM.
