Welcome to Vattenfall's facility in Stenungsund! Here, operations are conducted on the site that includes water production, port, and properties while exciting development for the future is being prepared. We are responsible for operations and maintenance, and with us, you will become part of an experienced and dedicated team.

Your role as Port Responsible Technical Coordinator

As the port responsible at our facility, you will have several areas to work with. In the Port, you will be part of a team that ensures operations and availability for Vattenfall's Port, which receives approximately 150 calls each year.

Our organization consists of dedicated and experienced operational staff who together create reliability in production and deliveries, solve problems, and work for a safe working environment. Within the Technical group, you will act as a coordinator for projects and collaborate with project managers for maintenance actions and investments. The group has a governing/leading function, and you are an important part of both the management and ordering role to ensure progress and delivery for other projects.

Our mission is primarily the operation and management of waterworks and port activities, as well as support processes related to the mountain's infrastructure. Your tasks include responsibility for the daily operations in the port and ensuring the operational status of the port facilities together with other colleagues. Together with the head of Technical, you are the key to fulfilling our commitment to ensuring the port operates reliably and safely.

Responsibilities and tasks in port operations

You have operational responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the port with over 150 ship calls per year of gas, oil, and chemical tankers.

In the port, you are responsible for operational management and leadership for Vattenfall's employees in the port. You have coordination responsibility for actions within the port area and work closely with Petroport and user companies in the port.

You are responsible for maintaining the requirements according to ISPS and other relevant regulations for safety in port operations. In this role, you are the security manager according to ISPS and ensure that applicable environmental conditions are followed. You continuously work to maintain a high level of safety and, in collaboration with staff functions, are responsible for contacts with authorities.

You initiate preventive and corrective maintenance in both the short and long term and collaborate with ongoing and planned investment projects. Within the Technical group, maintenance actions and projects for the entire site are managed and coordinated.

As a coordinator, you are part of the project management group and can also take responsibility for your own sub-projects. The role includes developing the operations and establishing and maintaining instructions and process descriptions related to port operations.

You participate in the development of the organization's budget and assist in the budgeting work for port operations.

The position is a daytime position, but emergency response and on-call duty may occur as needed.

Requirements

  • Relevant academic education or equivalent experience in maintenance and project operations
  • Experience from the port, shipping, refinery, or shipping industry, or other relevant maritime operations
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Driving license B

  • PFSO
  • Hot work
  • Leadership training
  • Work in ATEX environment
  • Gas measurement

As a person, you are driven and have good organizational skills. You have a high environmental and safety awareness and a strong desire to continuously develop and improve operations. You collaborate well with others and are communicative in both internal and external contexts. To succeed in the role, you are driven by performance, outgoing, and have a genuine interest in building and maintaining networks both within and outside the organization. Safety is an obvious part of your working method, and you enjoy collaborating both internally and with customers.
