About the position

We are looking for a qualified school librarian for JENSEN School and Gymnasium in Gothenburg. The position is 50% and is divided between the two schools (20% at the primary school in Vasastaden and 30% at the gymnasium on Stora Nygatan). You have great freedom to plan and organize your work in consultation with your supervisors.

Together with educators, school leadership, and JENSEN's centrally employed library coordinators, you will help build and develop the operations at both schools. You will work according to JENSEN's school library plan with a focus on promoting reading and media and information literacy (MIL).

JENSEN School Gothenburg houses over 210 students in grades 6–9 in a charming building in Vasastaden. Since autumn 2025, we have been offering specialized education in English. JENSEN Gymnasium is located in bright, modern facilities on Stora Nygatan and offers programs in economics, social sciences, natural sciences, and technology. At both schools, you will meet dedicated colleagues who care for each other and for the students' development. • Are a qualified school librarian or in the final stages of your education

Employment form

The position is a permanent part-time position at 50% starting May 4th or by agreement. We apply a six-month probationary period.
