2025 has been an exciting year for us at Aleido with continued growing trust in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS). Therefore, we look forward to growing in 2026 and are looking for you who want to work as a technical communicator within ILS and have a strong commitment to creating and managing complex technical information.

What the role entails

Depending on your background, you can work on everything from developing maintenance schedules and creating technical documentation to analyzing operational reliability, maintenance, and costs – or take a strategic holistic approach and shape long-term maintenance plans. Regardless of your role, you will work with a system perspective that spans from the concept phase to decommissioning.

In the role of ILS engineer, you will work with:

• Understanding and analyzing the complex technology used in military vehicles and tracked vehicles.

• Creating and maintaining good relationships with our customers' R&D departments to continuously gather information.

• Creating, managing, and structuring technical information that is tailored for high user-friendliness.

• Adapting language, structure, and content to meet the needs of the target audience.

Who you are

• Experience in systems analysis, technical documentation, or service engineering.

• Experience working with STE, S1000D, and Topic Based Authoring.

• A strong interest in technology, preferably related to military vehicles or tracked vehicles.

• Previous experience as a service technician, engineer, or a military background.

• Excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English.

• Ability to create, structure, and simplify complex information for high user-friendliness.

Meritorious:

• Previous work experience in aftermarket information.

• Post-secondary education in areas such as vehicle technology, mechanical engineering, or mechatronics.

• Knowledge of topic-based writing and XML.

• Experience working in the defense industry or a similar technical field.
