The Health and Care Administration, with its approximately 1500 employees, is one of the administrations in Mölndal Municipality and encompasses elderly care, support for people with disabilities, and health care.
The unit for economy and administration consists of a good team of 12 employees. Together, we work to provide qualified support to the entire administration. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Do you want to work with information management in an organization that makes a difference for people every day? We are now looking for an archive assistant for a fixed-term employment in the Health and Care Administration in Mölndal Municipality.
In the role of archive assistant, you will primarily work with practical archive management. Your tasks include, among other things:
- organizing, cataloging, and archiving analog archive material
- providing documents to caseworkers
- handling confidential information according to applicable legislation
- supporting the revision of governing documents
- common administrative tasks such as mail handling as needed
You will work closely with the administration's archivist. Part of the job also involves providing support in the work of revising the information management plan, for example by gathering materials, structuring information, and participating in the development of updated processes. Due to a planned move of archive material to other premises, tasks related to planning, packing, and preparations for the move will also be included in the position.
You will handle documents such as patient records, personal files, decision-making documents, contracts, and quality reports. The work includes both digital and analog documents, often with confidentiality, and is carried out in accordance with applicable legislation and internal guidelines for registration, preservation, archiving, and disposal. You thus have an important role in ensuring that information is handled legally, is accessible, and is protected.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a strong interest in archive and information management. To thrive in this role, you are structured, meticulous, and quality-conscious. You take responsibility for your tasks and have a good ability to work independently, while also being service-oriented and easy to collaborate with others.
The work requires a good understanding of information management and the ability to handle confidential information correctly.
Requirements for the position:
- at least 60 higher education credits in archive and information science
- proficient IT user and skilled in the Office suite
- ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish
It is meritorious if you have:
- experience in archive work, preferably within public administration
- experience in information management concerning confidential information
- experience in working with information management plans or similar governing documents
You are a good communicator, both verbally and in writing, and can easily adapt your communication to different recipients and contexts. You also have very good collaboration skills and see it as natural to contribute to the whole. You are happy to share your knowledge, work solution-focused together with others, and prioritize participation and collaboration.
