Description

Mimers Kulturhus is an important meeting place and cultural arena in Kungälv Municipality. The cultural house consists of a library, cultural school, theater, art hall, café, and cultural recreation center. The operation runs six days a week, and the house is open from morning to evening.

We are looking for someone who is culturally interested, service-oriented, and understands the importance of good hospitality. The cultural host plays an important role in providing service to visitors, associations, organizations, and other actors who use the house. The cultural host also works with daily operations, maintenance, and service, as well as occasionally as an event technician.

Responsibilities

The primary task of the cultural host is to meet and guide residents and guests at Mimers Kulturhus. As a cultural host, you are responsible for ensuring that the daily operations of the cultural house run smoothly. Responsibilities include preparing rooms, managing technical equipment, janitorial work, and administrative tasks such as invoice management.

We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills and a genuine interest in meeting other people. Of course, you have a user perspective in focus and understand the importance of good hospitality. You must be flexible and prepared for diverse tasks. You are skilled at organizing independent work, practical, and technically knowledgeable.

Evening and weekend work is included in the position.

Qualifications

• Completed upper secondary education in a field deemed relevant by the employer.
• Experience in similar tasks such as service jobs focused on reception, rentals, or experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Interest and experience with technical equipment such as sound systems.
• Knowledge of and experience with various computer programs.
• Driver's license (B).
• Experience in similar tasks within the cultural sector.
• IT skills. Invoice management.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
