Responsibilities and Tasks

At the Payment Authority, work with data and analysis is central.

We are now looking for someone who wants to enhance the agency's capabilities in data management, data analysis, and auditing.

As a software developer, you will have the opportunity to develop solutions in several areas, such as internal business systems, customization of standard tools, integrations, and data management. You will work in a development team and collaborate with individuals in various roles within our organization. The teams include software developers, data and devops engineers, data analysts, and data scientists. The solutions you develop aim to provide direct business value. You will also participate with colleagues in the work of establishing internal standards for code and lifecycle management.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working closely with those who use the solutions you develop. The role of Software Developer is located in the data and development department.

The agency is characterized by the establishment and building of a new operation, which requires the ability to take initiative and act even when the conditions are not entirely clear. In your role, you will handle sensitive and confidential information, which places high demands on proper handling, high demands on information security, and a strong security awareness.

We are looking for someone who has

• Post-secondary education in, for example, Computer Science
• At least three years of experience working with software development in Python, front-end, and back-end
• At least three years of experience and familiarity with code management in GIT and associated workflows
• Experience and a good understanding of software development principles
• Experience in developing user-friendly interfaces
• Experience working with SQL
• Good communication skills in Swedish

It is an advantage if you also have

• Experience with Linux
• Experience in interface design
• Experience with container-based solutions
• Experience working with open-source solutions

Skills and Abilities

To succeed in the role of software developer, you have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, are proactive, and have a good overall perspective. You are self-driven with good collaboration skills.

Other

The position is based in Stockholm. The agency is located in modern premises near Gullmarsplan. Security clearance may be required. The position is a permanent full-time employment. A six-month probationary period may apply. You may be placed in a war position at the agency.
