Nordsjö is a brand within AkzoNobel, one of the world's largest paint manufacturers. Nordsjö has its roots in Nordström & Sjögren AB, which started its operations back in 1903. Today, Nordsjö is one of the leading and most innovative brands in the Nordic region. We focus heavily on developing and manufacturing products that are sustainable for our environment, and our ambition is to stay ahead of societal laws and requirements. At our facility in Sege, just outside Malmö, which is the largest in the Nordic region, paint, lacquer, filler, and wood protection products are developed and manufactured for consumers and professional painters.
We are now looking for a business-driven Sales Representative for the PRO segment in Stockholm who wants to further develop our position in the professional market.
What can AkzoNobel offer you?
At AkzoNobel, you will encounter a warm and welcoming atmosphere where we work together with a focus on innovation and sustainability, aiming to be world leaders in the paint industry. Diversity enriches our workplaces, and we actively work with our employees to ensure they thrive and develop. We strategically work to become a better employer, resulting in our recognition as one of Sweden's Career Companies 2026. We offer you an international work environment where you will take on rewarding and challenging tasks that broaden your horizons and develop you in your role. You will work with competent and like-minded colleagues who share your attitude and enthusiasm. Welcome to us!
What will you be working on?
In this role, you will be responsible for a defined district in Stockholm with a full focus on turnover, profitability, and long-term customer development. You will drive active market penetration with a focus on acquiring new customers and further developing existing collaborations within professional painting and the retail sector.
This is an independent field role within B2B with full budget and result responsibility. Structure, prioritization, and systematic follow-up are crucial for success. You will work with a wide range of products and act as a professional and business-driven partner to the region's professional customers.
You will be part of Team Stockholm alongside two sales colleagues, where you will jointly drive and develop the business in the region. The role also involves close collaboration with stores, Sales Support, Marketing, Technical Service, and other sales colleagues in Sweden.
Main responsibilities
• Responsible for growth and profitability within the PRO segment in the district
• Identify and establish new business opportunities
• Develop the potential of existing customers
• Implement and follow up on campaigns and product launches
• Conduct product demonstrations and training for professional customers
• Establish and work according to district and customer plans
• Negotiate and sign local agreements within given frameworks
• Ensure quality in forecasts and follow-up in CRM
The position is a permanent full-time employment based in Stockholm. You will report to the Sales Manager PRO and be part of the regional sales team.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with experience in B2B sales who is used to taking full responsibility for both activity and results in your district. You are driven by developing businesses, identifying new opportunities, and building long-term, trust-based relationships with professional customers.
Experience from the painting or construction industry is an advantage. If you also have an understanding of how business is conducted in the industry and how decision-making processes work, we see this as a clear benefit.
You are confident in customer dialogue, work in a structured manner, and see CRM, planning, and follow-up as a natural part of your sales process.
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as well as a B driver's license are required.
Your application
At AkzoNobel, we are very committed to ensuring an inclusive and respectful workplace where all our employees can be their best selves. We strive to embrace diversity, tolerance, and respect. Our recruitment process plays a significant role in this journey as it lays the foundation for a diverse work environment. For this reason, we train and educate our Talent Acquisition Partners and hiring managers to understand and manage our unconscious biases. Through this work, we aim for awareness and to take action when relevant. In our organization, all qualified applicants are treated from an equal and equitable perspective – regardless of ethnic origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or disability.
We review applications continuously and may begin the selection process before the application deadline. Unfortunately, we do not accept applications via email.
