About the role

As a customer service representative for our client, you will play a central role in the daily operations and are often the first point of contact for their customers. You will handle order management, incoming inquiries via phone and email, as well as provide administrative support to the business.

The role also serves as an important support function to the transport management and helps ensure an efficient and smooth daily flow in the operations. The job includes ongoing contact with customers, staff, and subcontractors.

Employment type

The position is a temporary contract starting in May and running until January. You will work on-site at the headquarters with the rest of the team. Working hours are weekdays, Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00. Due to the peak season of the business, vacation cannot be taken during the period from May to August.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Administering and prioritizing incoming customer inquiries and keeping updated on current cases to ensure efficient handling in daily work. The work is done in our logistics and operational systems as well as in systems for deviation management.

  • Receiving incoming phone calls, emails, and mail and forwarding inquiries to the appropriate person or function within the organization when necessary.

  • Ensuring a professional and service-oriented approach in all customer contacts.

  • Registering and managing orders and working with order placement in our operational systems (Fetchplanner and GBO).

  • Registering deviations and forwarding them to operations or management for further handling.

  • Performing tasks in accordance with applicable laws, agreements, and internal procedures.

We are looking for someone who

  • Has experience in customer service, administration, or similar service-oriented work

  • Is service-minded, communicative, and enjoys daily contact with customers and colleagues

  • Is structured, solution-oriented, and has the ability to prioritize between different inquiries

  • Has good collaboration skills and a professional demeanor

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment where multiple inquiries are handled simultaneously

  • Has excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

  • Has good administrative skills and is accustomed to working in various IT systems (e.g., MS Office and operational systems)

  • Is meticulous and responsible in your work

Meritorious

  • Experience in waste management and/or contracting operations

  • Experience in logistics

  • Ability to express yourself in English both verbally and in writing

  • Experience with operational systems (NeXT, Fetchplanner, GBO)
