The menu is inspired by traditional French cuisine with elements of New York's bistro culture. Whether it's a weekday dinner, a weekend brunch, or a glass of wine at the bar, Levantine is a place for good food, great company, and a welcoming vibe.

Right across the street from Levantine lies Levantine Park – a relaxed outdoor seating area under the treetops in Vasaparken, with a bar and its own boules court. The focus is on beer, wine, and simple summer drinks, and the step to dinner at Levantine is always short.

About you & the position

As a host, you are an important part of creating the experience that the guest has throughout their stay, from arrival to departure, where you conduct age checks and greet guests in a respectful and inviting manner.

To thrive and do a good job in this role, we believe you love meeting people, you are a social chameleon who easily welcomes different types of individuals and makes them feel truly warm and welcome without compromising on legal requirements. The safety of our guests and compliance with regulations are of utmost importance, which makes accuracy and clarity key traits for you. Moving around the venue to manage flows to appropriate places and thus creating an even better guest experience is seen as very positive.

In other words, you are a key to ensuring that the guest's overall impression exceeds expectations!

The role is very service-oriented, and therefore we see it as an advantage if you have previous experience in service, preferably in the restaurant industry.

Scope: Part-time with a focus on Fridays & Saturdays during the summer.
