In this role, you will participate in exciting projects, collaborate with various departments and suppliers, and help shape the future of the devices and control systems. In the long term, you will have the opportunity to take full responsibility for one or more specific devices, which involves technical project leadership, driving improvements and development initiatives, and ensuring that the systems operate optimally throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with hardware in control systems and electronic devices.
- Ensure that the systems function over time and meet airworthiness requirements.
- Troubleshooting and analysis at the component level, managing obsolescence and repairs.
- Contact and collaboration with suppliers, purchasing, and quality.
- Participate in projects or operational responsibilities depending on experience and interest.
- Be the spider in the web between different departments and external manufacturers.
- Technical project management for specific devices in the long term.
- Degree in electronics or mechatronics, or equivalent education we deem comparable.
- At least one year of documented work experience in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, or working with electronic devices.
- Driver's license and ability to travel for work, including internationally.
- Swedish and English in spoken and written form.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in development or operation of electronic systems.
- Knowledge of control engineering.
- Previous experience with process thinking or methodical work in electronics.
- Experience from automotive, control systems, or similar industries.

At the same time, you thrive in a group where knowledge sharing is a given, and you appreciate being able to work independently as well as contribute to the team's common goals. You communicate easily with both colleagues and external suppliers, and can quickly adapt to changes in workflows and projects.
About Our Client
Our client is responsible for the development, production, and support of advanced flight systems. They work with combat aircraft, unmanned systems, flight structures, and aeronautical solutions for both military and civilian customers. The operations are primarily based in Linköping.
The department you will be part of is responsible for maintaining the airworthiness of aircraft by managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting advanced electronic devices and hydraulic systems. The work requires both technical precision and a deep understanding of aeronautical systems.
