Unit Dalregementet

The Swedish Armed Forces defend Sweden, the country's interests, our freedom, and our right to live as we choose. The establishment of Dalregementet is part of building Swedish defense capability. Until the regiment is developed to full capacity, including a new regimental area, the operations will be characterized by continuous development and change. We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Security Protection Officer to be placed at the Dalregementet staff. We offer you a responsible position in a job concerning Sweden's security within security protection with the opportunity to develop in the role. We seek someone who not only has the will to work but also shares our values and contributes to a good atmosphere in the team.

The Workplace

The Security Officer is placed at the command and security department, specifically the security section. We belong to the staff at Dalregementet. The security section handles security protection and intelligence services within the Falu Garrison.

Main Responsibilities

In your work as an officer with us, the main contacts will be the regiment's units and combat units, but also units in other parts of the country. The position includes, among other things:

• Participating in planning and supporting security protection work at the organizational unit, both independently and together with others
• Working in the entire security protection area; Information security, physical security, and personnel security
• Performing administrative tasks that are normally associated with the security protection function
• Carrying out general staff tasks within the department

Qualifications

• Swedish citizen
• High school diploma
• Good computer skills
• Good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
• Experience in independently handling cases
• Driver's license B

Meritorious

• Experience working independently in SharePoint-based document management systems
• Experience in personnel security, physical security, or information security
• Experience in staff work or equivalent within a government agency/municipality/county council

Other Information

Employment type: Civil permanent employment starting with a six-month probationary period
Work degree: Full-time
Working hours: 40 hours/week, daytime Monday-Friday, but service may be scheduled outside regular working hours
Work location: Falun, but service at another location may occur
Estimated start date: By agreement
Salary: Individual salary setting within the framework of the Armed Forces' salary policy
Military placement is included in the position

Information About the Swedish Armed Forces and the Recruiting Unit:

Dalregementet is one of the Swedish Armed Forces' new old units with roots dating back to 1625. The regiment was re-established in 2021 following a decision by the parliament. Our operations are based in Falun, and we will contribute to the training of soldiers who build the future infantry units/Army.

Employment with us means placement in a security class. Swedish citizenship is usually required.
