JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged Land Manager who wants to shape the future of land use with us! Do you have a genuine interest in land issues, sustainable development, and urban planning? Do you want to work with strategic and operational land management where both nature conservation and law meet? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

With us, you will play a key role in the management, development, and protection of Nybro Municipality's land areas.

As a Land Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

• Managing the municipality's land holdings
• Processing lease and usage rights agreements as well as other land leases
• Participating in planning processes during detailed planning and comprehensive planning with land issues as a perspective.
• Handling issues regarding protective hunting and agreements on hunting leases
• Investigating and managing issues related to contaminated land and collaborating with supervisory authorities and consultants
• Documenting and updating agreements in our mapping system Geosecma for ArcGIS

QUALIFICATIONS

For the position of Land Manager, we are looking for someone driven by a desire to work purposefully and achieve results with high quality. You have the ability to create structure, are self-driven, solution-oriented, and have good collaboration skills.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant academic education in surveying, environmental science, natural resources, law, or equivalent.
• Experience in land management, property law, leasing, and municipal operations
• Good knowledge of relevant laws and regulations such as the Land Code, Planning and Building Act, Environmental Code, etc.
• Knowledge of contaminated land and remediation is an advantage
• Good computer skills, especially in the Office suite. Experience working with EDP (case management system) and Geosecma for ArcGIS is an advantage.
• The ability to express oneself well in speech and writing and build good relationships with various stakeholders.

A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement for the position. We place great emphasis on your personal suitability and ability to take initiative.
