Information about the workplace

We are a small family-oriented health center with both BVC and midwifery services, located at Fäladstorget in northern Lund. As part of Praktikertjänst, we operate within Hälsoval Skåne. The workplace is well-staffed with 4 district doctors, ST doctors, a stable nursing group, as well as nursing assistants and secretaries. As a small unit, we work closely together to provide our patients with the best possible quality of care and a good reception. Short decision-making paths are central to the ongoing improvement work.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of BVC Nurse, you will work independently and be responsible for the BVC operations together with our experienced district doctors.

Your main job responsibilities include:

• Following children and families from birth to school start
• Working health-promoting and preventive in close collaboration with midwives, doctors, and nursing colleagues
• Being an important contact person for other actors regarding children's development
• Being responsible for the role of child protection representative
• Holding parent groups

Qualifications

• District nurse or pediatric nurse
• At least two years of experience in BVC operations
• Fluent Swedish and good English
• Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities
