The habilitation service is for children and young people with permanent disabilities and their families. Our mission is to create conditions for participation, development, and a functioning everyday life together with the child and their network. We work person-centered and family-centered, where the child's perspective and resources are always in focus.

The habilitation clinic for children and young people in Ängelholm receives children and adolescents up to 17 years old with movement disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and/or autism. Here, you will meet an engaged and interdisciplinary team characterized by good collaboration, knowledge exchange, and a development-oriented approach. All professions are equally important, and we value both experience and new perspectives.

The clinic is located in the northern hospital area in Ängelholm, in newly built and purpose-designed premises with modern equipment. We have good commuting opportunities with about a ten-minute walk from the train station, proximity to both the sea and nature, as well as some possibility for remote work. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a physiotherapist with us, we offer you a broad and varied role where you contribute to creating the best possible conditions for a functioning everyday life for children, young people, and their families.

Your tasks include assessment, planning, and implementation of physiotherapeutic interventions for delayed and/or atypical motor development as well as for permanent disabilities. The interventions are provided individually and/or in groups and are planned in close collaboration with the child or young person, guardians, and other important people in the network.

Your work also includes providing advice, supervision, and education regarding motor training in daily activities, play, and physical activity, as well as assessing needs for, prescribing, fitting, and following up on medical and orthopedic aids. The work is conducted in interdisciplinary teams and involves collaboration with, for example, preschools, schools, healthcare, and other relevant actors.

You will meet patients both in our premises, via digital healthcare contacts, and if necessary, in the child's local environment. Travel may occur in the position. We offer a structured introduction program, supervision, and good opportunities for professional development within the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed physiotherapist with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required. Since travel is involved in the position, a valid B driver's license is also a prerequisite. We consider it an advantage if you have experience working with children and young people and/or working with individuals with permanent disabilities.
