Make a difference. Every day.

Are you a person who values patient influence and sees patients as active participants in their own recovery process? So do we!

The care for medication-assisted rehabilitation for opioid dependence (LARO) in Skåne is undergoing changes with the phasing out of the LARO care choice. We plan to open more regional LARO clinics in Helsingborg and are looking for nurses who want to help develop LARO care, both at existing clinics and the new ones to be established, in collaboration with process leaders and unit managers.

The LARO clinics have a mission that includes comprehensive medical responsibility for patients with long-term opioid dependence. We offer medical treatment, counseling therapy, care and treatment planning, psychological testing and assessments, as well as basic somatic care related to substance abuse, harmful use, and dependence issues. The goal of LARO is to prevent relapse, improve social functioning, and reduce medical complications, transmission of infections, and mortality. Treatment is tailored individually based on the patient's needs and with respect for their autonomy and integrity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse, you play an important role in the team and, together with specialist doctors, are responsible for your patients' care and treatment. In addition to pharmacological treatment, we work with motivational interviewing, relapse prevention, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). We plan to start group treatments based on patients' needs. We collaborate with various actors in psychiatric and somatic care and see collaboration with social services, correctional services, the social insurance agency, and the employment agency as a prerequisite for meeting patients' needs.

All staff in the unit have a significant responsibility to develop and improve care in collaboration with the area's management. With us, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop in your role. We offer good development opportunities where you can strengthen your skills and take on your own areas of responsibility, based on your interests and our needs.

Some weekend work will be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required.

It is an advantage if you have experience in addiction care, a genuine interest in working with our target group, and/or experience collaborating with various actors. We also value if you have specialist training in psychiatry and/or step-1 competence in CBT. Good knowledge of Melior and the Microsoft Office suite is also meritorious.

As a person, you are humble and helpful, and you always put the patient first. You are confident in your professional role and used to working independently in a contact person role, where you see opportunities instead of obstacles. With a good ethical approach, a willingness to participate in improvement work, and strong collaboration skills, you contribute to an open and positive work environment. We place great importance on personal suitability.

As part of the suitability assessment, before deciding to offer a job, a check may be made from the suspicion register and the criminal record.
