Welcome to the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry within Region Skåne!

Psychiatry, habilitation, and aids are one of Region Skåne's eleven health and medical care administrations. The administration includes publicly operated psychiatry and habilitation in Skåne, with approximately 4,500 employees. The mission includes care, habilitation, rehabilitation, health work, and research. Within psychiatry, there are five emergency reception units, child and adolescent psychiatry, forensic psychiatry, and adult psychiatry. The habilitation area includes habilitation reception units for children, adolescents, and adults. Within the administration, there are also areas for vision, hearing, and deafness, youth reception units in Skåne, and aids.

The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (Bup) in Skåne is divided into the regional outpatient care area (VO), which has about 600 employees, and the regional inpatient care and special teams area (VO), which has about 150 employees. The outpatient care area is divided into four geographical areas as well as the First Line area. The operations are conducted both as specialist care and for milder mental health issues in the First Line. At the outpatient care units, investigations and assessments of mental symptoms in children and adolescents up to 17 years are performed for specialist care. Children and adolescents with psychiatric conditions are also treated here, and the work includes both family and network. In the operations, we have a broad interdisciplinary competence.

Bup is in constant development based on current research and changes in society and works from a process-oriented perspective with the expansion of standardized evidence-based care processes. Bup is an accredited university hospital unit, which means we have a close collaboration with the medical faculty at Lund University regarding both research and education.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Approximately 500 psychologists work within Region Skåne. We are now looking for seven PTP psychologists for a one-year service in the following facilities:

• Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Reception Eslöv
• Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Reception First Line Malmö
• Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Reception Kristianstad
• Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Reception 1 Lund
• Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Reception Trelleborg
• Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Reception Ängelholm
• Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Reception Ystad.

Region Skåne offers you an individually tailored PTP where you, together with a supervisor, design a service plan with educational elements. Through our breadth, scope, and diversity, you will have the opportunity to participate in seminars, study visits, and theme days in several areas.

Being a PTP psychologist with us means working with investigations, assessments, and treatment work. The work also includes team conferences, consultations, and collaboration with other care providers and facilities. As a PTP psychologist, you will receive supervision throughout the training year.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be eligible for the PTP positions, you must be able to present a Swedish psychology degree certificate no later than the start date in early September 2026. If you have studied psychology in a country other than Sweden, you must present a decision from the National Board of Health and Welfare to do PTP, and we therefore ask you to attach this to your application. Your language skills in Swedish correspond to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale.
