The Knislinge Health Center is located in the Östra Göinge municipality with good commuting opportunities. It is a well-functioning and stable unit with just under 9000 registered patients and about 48 employees. We work patient-centered and are keen to provide good and close care with a focus on high availability, quality, and continuity. With us, there is a high ceiling and a good working climate with a focus on teamwork and a cross-professional approach to offer our patients the best available care.

At the health center, seven specialists in general medicine and five residents work together with nurses, paramedics, nursing assistants, and secretaries in close and well-functioning collaboration. The health center has long experience as a training health center and receives a varying number of interns and residents who are part of our well-organized medical reception. In addition, we have a fully functioning mobile care team staffed by doctors between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM every day, and we are responsible for two of the municipality's special accommodations.

Competence development is important to us, and collegial dialogue is a high priority with regular doctor meetings and scheduled development time. The unit's doctors have several side assignments such as school doctors, assignments at youth clinics, STRAMA representatives, and several have AKO assignments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We offer a workplace with an open and inviting working method. As a doctor with us, you will work to investigate, treat, and follow up on our patients together with other professional categories. We prioritize supervision and have good access to a question doctor as knowledge support.

Our patient clientele is varied, and a workday with us is never the same. You will work with both planned and acute medical visits, and it may also include home visits and implementation of SIP according to the law on collaboration during discharge. We invest in continuing education and competence development and are flexible in allowing you to influence and shape your job content.

The position is a six-month temporary position with the possibility of extension.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed doctor with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s level scale are required. Experience from primary care is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who wants to help develop primary care with us. You are curious and attentive to patients' needs and are a communicative person. We value good collaboration skills while you also enjoy working independently. We work with individual solutions and want the employment to suit you.
