Nynässkolan is a modern school for grades 7 to 9 where we take joint responsibility for the school's mission regarding both values and knowledge. We want our students to feel a positive drive, trust in their abilities, and to develop according to their conditions. The school has approximately 520 students distributed across 18 classes, with six classes in each grade.

We are a school with a large mix of both students and staff from different backgrounds and cultures, which we see as a strength where we can learn and develop from each other, something we are very proud of at Nynässkolan.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a teacher of Spanish and English/alternatively another subject for grades 7-9, you will primarily teach Spanish. Teaching English or another subject will constitute a smaller part of the position. You will have class responsibility as well as responsibility for mapping, planning, implementing, and evaluating lessons. The work is carried out according to decided goals and guidelines. The tasks also include mentorship and working with your colleagues to create a good, enjoyable, and varied school day with the students' best interests in focus.

Your tasks include:

• Plan, implement, and follow up teaching in the subjects of Spanish and English/alternatively another subject according to the curriculum.
• Create a varied, stimulating, and structured teaching that supports students' language development.
• Adapt teaching according to students' different needs and conditions.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in work teams and subject groups.
• Class responsibility and mentorship.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are now looking for an engaged teacher who wants to help develop our teaching in modern languages and English at the upper secondary level. You have a teaching degree and teaching license with authorization to teach in grades 7-9 in the subjects of Spanish and English/alternatively another subject. We are looking for someone who has:

• Teaching degree and teaching license with authorization to teach in grades 7-9 in the subjects of Spanish and English/alternatively another subject.
• You are familiar with and knowledgeable about the primary school curriculum.
• You have the ability to express yourself well in the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
• You have knowledge of and experience with digital tools, such as documentation in Unikum or Office.

OTHER

You as the final candidate must be able to present a criminal record from the police for work in schools or preschools. This should not be attached to your application.
