Stenbergaskolan is looking for a teacher qualified in Swedish and English.

Your mission

As a primary school teacher in English and Swedish at Stenbergaskolan, you will be responsible for teaching both subjects. You will plan, lead, and follow up on classroom activities based on the curriculum goals and adapt your teaching to the different needs and conditions of the students. Your teaching will create engagement and provide students with the opportunity to develop their language skills both orally and in writing. You will be involved in the school's development work and collaborate with colleagues in teams and subject groups to create a stimulating and safe learning environment.

Workplace description

Stenbergaskolan is located in the industrial community of Ljusne at the mouth of the Ljusnan River. We are close to forests, rivers, and the sea. The school area includes Ljusne Preschool, adapted primary school, and primary school grades F-9. The public library and school library share facilities. The two school buildings are from the 1950s and 1970s and have been remodeled several times over the years to adapt to the operations. The primary school has about 300 students distributed across 16 classes and approximately 50 staff members.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone who is goal- and results-oriented and has the ability to work systematically to create clear frameworks and a good working atmosphere in the classroom. You have good collaboration skills and contribute to a positive and solution-focused work climate. Your leadership is clear, and you possess pedagogical insight that allows you to adapt teaching to the needs of different students. You show commitment to students' development and work to create a learning environment where everyone has the opportunity to succeed. A teaching license with qualifications in English and Swedish is required for this position.
