Primary School Teacher in Music and Swedish

Stenbergaskolan is now looking for a primary school teacher who is qualified in music and Swedish.

Your Mission

As a primary school teacher in music and Swedish at Stenbergaskolan, you will be responsible for teaching in both subjects. You will plan, implement, and follow up on the teaching based on current governing documents and adapt it to the students' conditions and needs. You will inspire students to develop their language and creativity, and create a learning environment where they can express themselves both verbally and through music. In your work, you will collaborate with colleagues in teams and subject groups and be an active part of the school's collective development work.

About the Workplace

Stenbergaskolan is located in the industrial community of Ljusne at the mouth of the Ljusnan River. We are close to forests, rivers, and the sea. The school area includes Ljusne Preschool, adapted primary school, and primary school grades F-9. The public library and school library share facilities. The two school buildings are from the 1950s and 1970s and have been remodeled several times over the years to adapt to the operations. The primary school has about 300 students distributed across 16 classes and around 50 staff members.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone who is goal- and result-oriented and has the ability to motivate and engage students in their learning. You are relationship-building and establish trusting relationships with both students and colleagues, creating a positive and safe working environment. Your leadership is clear, and you work systematically to create order and focus in the classroom. You are flexible, attentive, and have a strong commitment to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to develop based on their own conditions. A teaching license with qualifications in music and Swedish is required for this position.
