Language Teacher in Spanish and English Wanted at Stenbergaskolan

Stenbergaskolan is now looking for an engaged language teacher who wants to inspire and develop students in both Spanish and English.

Your Mission

As a primary school teacher in Spanish and English at Stenbergaskolan, you will be responsible for teaching both subjects to students in grades 6–9. You will plan, implement, and follow up on the teaching based on the governing documents and adapt it to the students' individual conditions and needs. By inspiring and engaging students, you will spark their interest in language and culture, providing them with the best opportunities to develop their communicative skills. In your work, you contribute to a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment where all students have the opportunity to succeed. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in teams and subject groups and be active in the school's joint development work.

Workplace Description

Stenbergaskolan is located in the industrial community of Ljusne at the mouth of the Ljusnan River. We are close to forests, rivers, and the sea. The school area includes Ljusne Preschool, adapted primary school, and primary school grades F-9. The public library and school library share facilities. The two school buildings are from the 1950s and 1970s and have been renovated several times over the years to adapt to the operations. The primary school has about 300 students distributed across 16 classes and approximately 50 staff members.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone who is goal- and results-oriented and has the ability to motivate and engage students in their learning. You easily create good relationships with both students and colleagues, contributing to a positive and developing work environment. Your leadership is characterized by clarity and structure, and you have a good ability to create order and calm in the classroom. You are flexible and responsive to the different needs of students and have a strong pedagogical commitment. A teaching license with qualifications in Spanish and English for grades 6–9 is required for this position.
