We at Attendo are now looking for a kitchen assistant for Attendo Ljung in Värmdö. Attendo Ljung is a nursing home with 56 places and a day activity for the elderly with a dementia diagnosis. We have been operating since 2009 under contract from Värmdö municipality.

The operation has a high customer satisfaction according to the Socialstyrelsen user survey (2025) and our food has received much praise and contributes to a golden touch for our residents.

Job Description

Every day our chefs prepare lunch and dinner for our residents and guests at the day activity. Attendos food organization provides nutritionally calculated recipes, menus based on the season and holidays through our Matlust concept. Training in food hygiene is provided to ensure that food handling and kitchen cleaning meet all requirements. Ordering food items is included, as well as unpacking and keeping good order in storage and refrigerators.

You should have a genuine interest in cooking, master the Swedish language in speech and writing to be able to read recipes and instructions. You should be stress-resistant, service-oriented, and have good planning skills, and you should also be able to collaborate with our activity coordinators as many activities are related to food.

• Temporary position, approx. 50% until summer, during July-August approx. 80%.

• Working hours daytime 10 AM - 5 PM, every other weekend.

• Start date according to agreement.
