Tranehälsan AB is a small company that operates the healthcare center Tranehälsan. We have a location in Tranemo and a branch in Dalstorp. We are connected to Vårdval – primary care and operate the business on behalf of the Västra Götalands Region. We conduct a broad primary care operation where we offer care to everyone throughout life; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients at the end of life. We work health-promoting and try to strengthen the patient's ability for self-care, where possible.

As a resident physician with us, you will receive regular supervision from one of our specialists. If you become eligible for a training position, we follow the region's structure and have a close collaboration with ST study directors from the region.

We offer you a reasonable schedule that you will have the opportunity to influence. We are open between 7 AM and 5 PM on weekdays.

Job Description

We offer you a challenging and varied job. We believe that you are drawn to primary care because you are interested in the breadth of the specialty area of general medicine and can envision a future in primary care. As a licensed physician with us, you will receive regular supervision and the opportunity to participate in training together with other doctors at the healthcare center.

We have regular work meetings where we support each other and collaborate for the best results for the patient and for our common work environment.

Some way into your residency training, you will staff occasional shifts at the region's joint emergency center in Borås.

The Workplace

The healthcare center is located about a 35-minute drive from Borås. Buses run daily between Tranemo and the travel center in Borås. Tranehälsan currently has over 7000 registered patients. At the healthcare center, there are physician consultations, specialist nurse consultations, nursing consultations, child health care, psychosocial competence, and a laboratory. We are also responsible for several nursing homes in collaboration with Närhälsan and Tranemo municipality.

We are currently a staff group of 23 people. The management consists of 2 owners and one employed manager, so we have short decision-making paths. The work climate is open, and we have good collaboration between the professions, which creates a good spirit and a common desire to do the best for our patients.

About You

You are a licensed physician and hold a medical license issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare. You have Swedish language skills corresponding to documented level C1, as you should be able to communicate with patients, relatives, and colleagues fluently. 

As a person, you have good collaboration skills and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. You have good judgment and communicate clearly. We want you to be unpretentious and enjoy working in a team. We place great importance on personal qualities.
