Forena is the largest trade union in the insurance industry, organizing employees in insurance companies, banks owned by insurance companies, and insurance brokers. They welcome all professional groups in a workplace, regardless of role, education, or position. Forena currently has around 15,000 members and is steadily growing.

Job responsibilities

The role of Process Owner is a new role at Forena created to strengthen and further develop the work with quality, structure, and system management within the organization. A forward-leaning and developing role where you drive Forena towards increased efficiency and quality. An important part of your mission is to serve as the link between technology and operations. This means that you will follow up on system functionality, plan releases, manage incidents, and analyze how various changes affect data, flows, and other dependencies.

You are also an important resource for the organization regarding support and knowledge. You will answer questions from users, provide guidance in processes and data quality, and conduct training when new functions or working methods are introduced. The role also includes responsibility for data protection work, ensuring that guidelines are followed in practice. This may involve conducting risk assessments and DPIAs, managing the document management plan, and collaborating closely with the Data Protection Officer.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with IT strategists, IT and business coordinators, as well as external suppliers. You will participate in projects and initiatives related to both system improvement and process development, where you contribute with analysis, structure, and a holistic perspective to create sustainable long-term solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing, documenting, and owning Forena's processes

• Driving improvement work and following up on quality and efficiency

• Being responsible for system management, including operation, maintenance, and release planning

• Providing user support and conducting training in systems, processes, and data quality

• Ensuring compliance with data protection, conducting DPIAs, and managing document handling

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Post-secondary education, such as YH in process management, quality development, or equivalent experience

• 3–5 years of experience in system management, process mapping, development, and risk management

• At least 2 years of experience working as an ITIL process leader

• Very good Swedish in speech and writing

• Good understanding of GDPR and data protection

It is also meritorious to have:

• Experience from the non-profit sector

• Experience with membership systems/CRM

As a person, you thrive on creating structure, driving processes forward, and taking initiative. You collaborate easily with others, have an analytical approach, and are both persistent and meticulous. Additionally, you enjoy being an ambassador for the process approach and actively contribute to its permeation throughout the organization.

You communicate and document in a clear and pedagogical manner, and have the ability to make complex information easy to understand. The role requires a strong sense of responsibility and good initiative, as well as being confident in leading yourself based on the needs of the organization.

Start: By agreement (we apply a 6-month probationary period)

Location: Forena's office in Stockholm, Kungsgatan. A hybrid model with flexibility is applied
