Within the education office, we focus on the development and learning of children and young people. We view the individual from a 0-20 year perspective and base our work on the individual needs and conditions of children and young people.

The Center for Multilingualism (CFF) is a central unit responsible for organizing mother tongue teaching and study guidance in Norrköping municipality.
We are located at Södra Promenaden 60, Fenixhuset. We assist both municipal and independent schools from grade 3 to high school. Mother tongue teaching is mandatory when the student has applied for it. Our teaching and assessment are based on the curriculum (Lgr22).

We are now looking for a mother tongue teacher/study guide in Macedonian.
Your tasks
As a mother tongue teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, grading, and evaluating the subject according to the curriculum and course plan.
Groups in mother tongue consist of students with different levels of knowledge and different grades. You adapt the teaching to the students and support their knowledge development.
You contribute to students developing their identity, cultural competence, and ability to communicate in speech and writing in their mother tongue. Teaching is primarily conducted at the various schools in the municipality.
In study guidance, you develop the student's academic language related to subjects both in Swedish and in the mother tongue and have close cooperation with the student's regular subject teachers. You also act as support to ensure that the student has a safe start in the Swedish school.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone who has Macedonian as their mother tongue and has teacher training from their home country and/or Sweden. A teaching license in the subject of mother tongue and/or training in study guidance is desirable.
You have experience in mother tongue teaching and study guidance in Swedish schools.
As a person, you are positive, trustworthy, and persistent. You quickly orient yourself in new environments and easily connect with students, staff, and guardians.
You are a good listener and enjoy working with students and developing their mother tongue. You work independently and like to collaborate and grow together with your colleagues.
In your work, you demonstrate integrity and reliability, considering the ethical implications of questions and decisions, and keeping agreements. You maintain a calm demeanor even in stressful situations and organize and prioritize your tasks based on urgency and importance.
You have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
