We are now looking for a highly senior Cybersecurity Specialist (level 5) for a qualified assignment in a critical societal operation. The role typically corresponds to at least 10 years of relevant experience in IT and information security, with a focus on governance, risk, and compliance.

This is a strategic and operationally close assignment where you will play a central role in further developing the organization's cybersecurity capabilities.

About the assignment

The assignment includes:

Supporting and further developing the organization's GRC framework

Supporting the development and enhancement of risk methodology within cybersecurity

Conducting and coordinating internal audits and providing support during external inspections

Participating in the development and updating of governing documents

Providing qualified advice to management and operations on risk and compliance issues

Supporting the follow-up of action plans and management of risk acceptance

You will operate in the intersection of operations, IT, and management and are expected to switch between strategic, operational, and technical perspectives.

Competence requirements

The consultant must meet the following:

At least 10 years of relevant experience in IT and information security, in central roles such as IT security architect, strategic advisor, or equivalent

Documented experience of working methodically with risk frameworks in larger organizations or authorities

Documented experience of IT audits and reviews in larger organizations or authorities

Documented experience of collaborating with various stakeholders within operations, IT, and suppliers, and adapting communication accordingly

Documented experience of working with established frameworks such as the ISO 27000 series, NIST, COBIT, MITRE, CIS Controls (CIS20), or similar.

Desirable qualifications

Certification in information security, such as CISSP

Certification in risk, such as CRISC or CGRC

Certifications in IT auditing

Experience from working within government agencies
