Do you want to be a key player in our finance department and work with accounting in a growing company operating throughout Sweden? Galdax AB is now looking for a dedicated and meticulous Accountant to join our headquarters in Vara.

About us

Galdax AB is a growing company in the automotive service industry with operations in several subsidiaries across the country. We currently operate six tire workshops and offer professional services related to tire changes and car maintenance for both individuals and businesses. Our corporate culture is characterized by collaboration, quality thinking, and a focus on long-term business relationships.

Your role

As an accountant with us, you will play a central role in our finance and accounting function and work closely with both management and operations in our subsidiaries. You will be responsible for parts of the ongoing accounting and ensure that the financial reporting is of high quality and follows good accounting practices.

Responsibilities

Your role includes, among other things:

• Ongoing accounting and year-end closing work
• VAT/tax declarations and reconciliations
• Account reconciliations and accounts payable & receivable
• Accruals and internal reporting
• Participate in the development of routines and processes
• Collaborate with operational managers in our tire workshops
• Use Fortnox in daily accounting

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who:

• Has relevant education in finance or equivalent experience
• Previous experience in accounting
• Has good system skills and enjoys working with digital tools
• Is structured, responsible, and has an eye for detail
• Has the ability to see the big picture but also enjoys working with consolidated financial statements
• Is a team player who contributes to a positive work environment
