The Social Administration is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at different stages of life. We work based on individual needs and offer services that are based on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), and the Health and Medical Care Act.

This can involve providing the elderly with a safe and meaningful everyday life, supporting individuals with disabilities, or being there for children, youth, and adults in vulnerable life situations.

The position is a resource role. This means working at LSS Limabackavägen 10 in Väröbacka and at Fogdevägen 1F in Tvååker.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to work closely with people and make a difference in their everyday lives? As a support assistant, you will help create safety, participation, and development for individuals with functional variations or mental health issues. We are looking for someone who thrives in a varied everyday life, where approach, structure, and engagement are central.

As a support assistant, you will provide educational, social, and practical support to individuals with functional variations in their daily lives. The goal is to strengthen the individual's independence, quality of life, and participation in society.

Your role includes, among other things:

• Supporting the individual in daily life based on the implementation plan
• Motivating and creating structure around activities, health, and social interaction
• Collaborating with relatives, colleagues, and other actors
• Documenting interventions in digital systems according to applicable routines
• Working based on a low-arousal approach and focusing on the individual's needs

You can work within both functional support (according to LSS) and social psychiatry (according to SoL), in services such as group homes, service apartments, or supported housing. In all services, the aim is to promote independence, health, and participation based on the individual's needs. Work hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, and weekends, depending on the needs of the service.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in working with people and a good ability to build trust and relationships. You are secure, attentive, and able to adapt your approach to different individuals' needs and circumstances.

We also expect you to have:

• Sign language, AAC, Clear pedagogical methods.
• High school education in healthcare and nursing or child and leisure activities
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing

A driving license may be required depending on the service.
