We are looking for certified teachers in textile crafts and wood and metal crafts for Bergviksskolan.

Your mission

Do you want to help create an inspiring and developing environment for our students? We are now looking for two dedicated craft teachers for Bergviksskolan – one focused on textile crafts and one on wood and metal crafts.

As a craft teacher with us, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on the teaching in your craft area. You will inspire and guide students in their creative and practical development and adapt the teaching based on governing documents and the individual needs of the students. You will create a safe, structured, and stimulating learning environment where all students have the opportunity to develop their skills and interest in crafts. You will work closely with colleagues and actively contribute to the school's joint development work.

Workplace description

Bergviksskolan is located about 20 kilometers from the central town of Söderhamn. Here, you will find proximity to forests, the Bergviken lake, and Ljusnan. The school is divided into two units, with students from preschool to grade 6 in one building and students in grades 7-9 in the other. There is a well-equipped library and a student cafeteria. We have a good outdoor environment that encourages physical activity.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone who is driven by setting goals and working towards clear results, and who sees the opportunities to motivate and engage each student. You have a natural ability to build safe and trusting relationships, both with students and colleagues, which contributes to a positive and developing work environment. Your pedagogical commitment allows you to tailor teaching and support so that each student has the opportunity to grow based on their own conditions. With clear leadership, you create structure, focus, and a learning environment where everyone can succeed.

For the positions, a teaching certification with qualifications in textile crafts and wood and metal crafts is required.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
