Your Mission
Do you want to help create an inspiring and developing environment for our students? We are now looking for an engaged teacher in mathematics and science subjects for Bergviksskolan.

As a teacher in mathematics and science subjects, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on the teaching in these subjects for students in grades 7–9. You inspire and guide students in their theoretical and practical development, adapting the teaching based on governing documents and the individual needs of the students. You create a safe, structured, and stimulating learning environment where all students have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and interest in mathematics, natural sciences, and technology. You work closely with colleagues and actively contribute to the school's joint development work.

Workplace Description
Bergviksskolan is located about 20 kilometers from the central town of Söderhamn. Here, you have proximity to forests, Lake Bergviken, and Ljusnan. The school is divided into two units, with students from preschool to grade 6 in one building and students in grades 7–9 in the other. There is a well-equipped library and a student cafeteria. We have a good outdoor environment that encourages physical activity.

Your Competence

You have a natural ability to build safe and trusting relationships, both with students and colleagues, which contributes to a positive and developing work environment. Your pedagogical commitment allows you to tailor teaching and support so that each student has the opportunity to grow based on their own conditions. With clear leadership, you create structure, calm, and a learning environment where everyone can succeed.

A teaching license with qualifications in mathematics and at least one science subject for grades 7–9 is required for this position. Personal qualities will be given great importance.
