Your mission

Do you want to help create an inspiring and developing environment for our students? We are now looking for a substitute teacher in Physical Education and Social Studies at Bergvik School.

As a teacher in Physical Education and Social Studies, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on the teaching in these subjects for students in grades 7–9. You will inspire and guide students in their theoretical and practical development, adapting the teaching according to governing documents and the individual needs of the students. You will create a safe, structured, and stimulating learning environment where all students have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and interest in mathematics, natural sciences, and technology. You will work closely with colleagues and actively contribute to the school's joint development work.

Workplace description

Bergvik School is located about 20 kilometers from the central town of Söderhamn. Here, you will find proximity to forests, Lake Bergviken, and Ljusnan. The school is divided into two units, with students from preschool to grade 6 in one building and students in grades 7–9 in the other. There is a well-equipped library and a student cafeteria. We have a good outdoor environment that encourages physical activity.

Your qualifications

Your pedagogical commitment allows you to customize teaching and support so that each student has the opportunity to grow based on their own conditions. A teaching license with qualifications in Physical Education and at least one Social Studies subject is required for the position. Personal qualities will be given significant weight.
