The Department of Children and Education encompasses preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, after-school care, high school, and adult education. Currently, over 200 employees work in our department.

We lay the foundation for lifelong learning by providing safe care and stimulating learning environments. We actively work with guiding interactions and base our approach on the children's and students' conditions and their personal abilities.

We strive for high goal fulfillment and to ensure that every student has the best possible conditions for a safe and successful school experience. We offer our children and youth a meaningful leisure time through our after-school activities.

Job Responsibilities

At Mullhyttans School, we work purposefully to create a safe and developing school environment where our students have the conditions to succeed. Therefore, we want to strengthen the support for our students who need extra assistance in the classroom and during after-school care. As a student coordinator, you will play an important role in this work.

In the role of student coordinator, you will be a key person for students' development and well-being at Mullhyttans School. You will be a visible and accessible adult in the school's daily life and during after-school care, working to build relationships, prevent issues, and promote safety and study focus.

In your role as a student coordinator, you will support our students in their learning in the classroom and assist in finding further structures and strategies in the ongoing work.

You will also collaborate closely with school staff, student health services, and school management to create joint solutions for our students.

The position is a fixed-term project employment for one year, linked to an approved grant to raise the level of knowledge. The employment may be extended provided that project funding is granted/continues and that necessary decisions are made.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience who enjoys working with younger students. You easily build trust, are calm, clear, and secure in your interactions with students.

The most important thing is that you have the right attitude, a genuine commitment to students' development, and the ability to build professional relationships. Personal suitability will be heavily weighted. In this position, you will be part of a school where we see all students as our students and where collaboration and student focus are central.
