At Degerforsgymnasiet, we invest long-term in students' health, well-being, and academic results. We are now looking for an engaged teacher in physical education and health who wants to help develop our health-promoting work – preferably in combination with teaching another subject, e.g., History, Social Studies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a teacher with us, you will play an important role in:

• Inspiring students to enjoy movement and lifelong health
• Working preventively and health-promoting throughout the school's activities
• Contributing to the development of the school's health profile
• Coaching students as a mentor
• Teaching physical education and health as well as another subject based on your qualifications

We welcome combinations with subjects such as social studies, history, or other subjects where health and lifestyle can be integrated, but we are open to your expertise.

You will be part of one of the school's work teams.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher in physical education and health for high school
• Has qualifications in another subject
• Has clear and inclusive leadership
• Wants to work relationship-building and closely with students
• Sees health as both physical, mental, and social

You are a team player who wants to contribute to the school's development and sees the value in working at a smaller high school where every student is seen.
