In the city center, there is Luleå Gymnasieby, a campus area that gathers most municipal upper secondary education programs with nearly 2500 students. The students in Luleå Gymnasieby should be given the conditions for lifelong learning by focusing on knowledge, participation, responsibility, and leadership to prepare them for working life and as citizens in society. Contacts with the business community are many, and in the local steering groups, the business community collaborates with the upper secondary school to create good conditions for students to be well prepared for the time after upper secondary education.

In the upper secondary school, there are also specialized programs in mathematics as well as nationally approved sports education and national basketball gymnasium. In the Örnen block, we have a combined Sports Gymnasium with three preparatory programs and one vocational program.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will teach the subject of Special Sports Hockey within the Nationally Approved Sports Education (NIU) at Luleå Gymnasieskola. You will be part of the sports gymnasium's work team. In addition to teaching, you will work and collaborate with program teams and student health as well as mentorship. The position also requires close cooperation with Luleå Hockey.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a qualified and certified upper secondary school teacher in the subject of Special Sports-Hockey. You have extensive experience as a Hockey Coach at elite/junior level, with adequate coaching education for this, ETU training is a requirement.

This job suits you if you have good collaboration skills and the ability to structure and organize. You also have good communication skills, can express yourself clearly, professionally, and pedagogically in both conversation and writing. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

If you do not have a teaching license in the above qualification, you can still be considered for this position, then on a school law employment.

If you are offered the position, you must present a valid extract from the criminal record.

Start date 2025-08-12 or by agreement.
