Region Örebro County is now looking for an administrator for a fixed-term position focused on monitoring private healthcare providers that perform care with compensation from the region. The assignment is part of the region's efforts to prevent and combat welfare crime and aims to strengthen control, follow-up, and knowledge in the area.

The Health and Medical Care Unit is part of the Regional Office and handles overarching health and medical care issues as well as dental care issues. The Health and Medical Care Unit, which has about 20 employees, includes study directors for AT/BT and ST doctors, the Child Health Care Unit, the Maternal Health Care Unit, the Dental Care Unit, and the Health Choice Unit.
The Regional Office works with overarching strategic issues, coordination, and follow-up in areas such as sustainable development, finance, HR, communication, administration, law, and security, as well as health and medical care. The Regional Office also supports the political organization and provides expertise to both elected officials and the operations of Region Örebro County. Together we create a better life.
Investigator for review of external care agreements for the Health and Medical Care UnitJob ResponsibilitiesThe work is based on the region's mission to prevent and combat welfare crime and involves conducting ongoing and in-depth follow-ups on private healthcare providers receiving compensation from the region. In this role, you will monitor contracts and compensation models, analyze payments and volumes, and identify discrepancies that may indicate inaccuracies or compliance deficiencies.
You will collect, review, and compile documentation such as journals, time sheets, and reports, and produce analyses that strengthen the region's follow-up and control work. An important part of the assignment is to work closely with existing functions, such as contract controllers, procurement, and legal, and to serve as support in developing more structured and systematic approaches to follow-up.
The work is primarily operational and requires accuracy, perseverance, and the ability to handle large amounts of information. The role also includes monitoring the area and learning from experiences in other regions to contribute to a more accurate and effective follow-up process over time.

Qualifications- academic degree in areas deemed relevant by the employer for the assignment

Meritorious:
- experience of qualified investigative work in the public sector
