We offer you a varied job as a medical secretary/administrative assistant where you will have the opportunity to use and develop your skills. Your tasks will include writing medical records, making bookings, sending invitations, and ordering interpreters. In some clinics, you will also be responsible for staffing the reception. With us, there is close cooperation between doctors, medical secretaries, nurses, and nursing assistants who together create a good atmosphere that both employees and patients benefit from. Your role is an important part of the hospital delivering high-quality care.

About You

We are looking for someone who is educated or is in training to become a medical secretary. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language both in speech and writing, and you also need to be IT-savvy and have a good understanding of medical terminology. At Västervik Hospital, we use the Cosmic data system; experience with this system is an advantage. We appreciate a humble and positive attitude and the ability to handle a sometimes high workload. We value that you organize your work in a structured way and perform it with utmost precision. You find it easy to work independently while seeing collaboration as a given. As a person, you are engaged and service-oriented, contributing to the workgroup with your positive spirit. We place great importance on personal suitability.
