The Role of Transport Service Officer

As a transport service officer, you will investigate, assess, and make decisions regarding the right to transport service and national transport service. The work is carried out according to applicable legislation and guidelines and encompasses the entire process – from application to decision and any appeals.

You will have many contacts, primarily via phone, with customers, relatives, healthcare personnel, municipalities, and colleagues within the Länstrafiken. With shared commitment, we create safety and legal certainty for the county's residents.

Examples of tasks in the role:

• Investigate and decide on the customer's need for transport service and national transport service
• Provide support and assistance to county residents regarding transport service and national transport service
• Inform about our public transport and service trips
• Participate in the development of the operations together with colleagues

We are currently looking for two transport service officers. The positions are permanent full-time employment with start dates according to agreement. A probationary period may apply.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree for the position, such as in law, behavioral science, or social work. You have experience in public authority operations and experience working with investigations, decision-making, and application of laws and regulations. You have knowledge of disabilities and accessibility. We also appreciate experience in improvement and development work.

• Work systematically and ensure legal certainty in every decision
• Be comfortable using digital systems/tools and have a very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
