With great commitment and continuous learning, we conduct high-quality outpatient operations. As a nursing assistant with us, you will learn something new every day and gain significant competence. In our work, we take advantage of the breadth of knowledge and experience we share. At the endoscopy clinic, we perform colonoscopies, gastroscopies, and place PEG tubes, and we have both outpatient and emergency visits. In March 2026, we will move to our new outpatient facilities and expand the clinic with an additional examination room.

The surgical area is a regional operation, which means close collaboration between the three hospitals in the region. The area has a regional assignment for emergency and planned surgical procedures, and we also provide some highly specialized care for out-of-region patients. Here, there are 350 employees in various units such as outpatient care, inpatient care, surgery, and secretariat. Planned healthcare is increasingly being located in Karlskoga and Lindesberg, and similarly, tumor and trauma services are being located in Örebro. Within the area, active development work is being conducted with a focus on the patient throughout the care process.

Karlskoga Hospital is one of the three emergency hospitals in Region Örebro County. We who work at Karlskoga Hospital are proud of our hospital. We welcome you who are a trained nursing assistant, preferably with a focus on emergency care according to the previous program structure, or are a trained nursing assistant within the current program structure. To be able to assess employability, transcripts from your healthcare education and proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare of your protected professional title must be attached to your application.

We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills, social competence, and a strong commitment. We see that you are open to changes and have the ability to work under varying workloads. We highly value personal suitability.

Experience in endoscopy is an advantage.
