Region Dalarna conducts research, education, and innovation in close collaboration with academia, industry, and the region's operations. The Unit for Research, Education, and Innovation (FoUI) is the region's hub for scientifically based development work and is home to the Scientific Council of Region Dalarna. The Council's mission is to compile and assess the state of knowledge using scientific methodology as a basis for decisions in medical and nursing-related issues. Through its work, the Scientific Council ensures that new methods and treatments in healthcare are based on proven quality by systematically reviewing and evaluating the scientific knowledge base. Through its work, the Council enables an orderly introduction of effective methods and limits the use of those that lack clear support - to the benefit of both patients and operations.

The Scientific Council consists of a chairperson, secretary, project leader, and clinically and scientifically active members. The Council works according to established processes and contributes to transparent, knowledge-based decisions in the region's operations.

Project Leader for the Scientific Council in Region Dalarna

As the Project Leader for the Scientific Council, you are responsible for producing scientific support for both strategic decisions and decisions close to healthcare operations. The work is conducted according to internationally recognized and established methods and constitutes an important support in the region's knowledge governance.

You:

• coordinate and lead the work of the Scientific Council together with the chairperson and the members of the council
• conduct and compile systematic literature reviews and other scientific support
• engage in dialogue with relevant operations before and during investigation assignments
• represent Region Dalarna in RSG-HTA and participate in the national HTA network

The assignment involves both independent analytical work and close collaboration with the region's operations.

You have:

• an academic degree in healthcare, dentistry, or a related field
• a doctoral degree

It is advantageous if you have:

• experience in conducting systematic literature reviews or HTA reports, even if training can occur within the framework of the position
• teaching experience, as some instruction may occur

As a person, you are structured, persistent, and confident in leading work forward. You collaborate well but also enjoy working independently and are motivated by contributing to development and knowledge-based decisions.
