About the Workplace
Sydöstra Skånes Räddningstjänstförbund (SÖRF) was established in 2000. The federation's task is to work for safety-enhancing measures and interventions for all who live, work, or stay in our member municipalities Simrishamn, Sjöbo, Tomelilla, and Ystad. The area has approximately 85,000 residents, and during the summer months, the population more than doubles.
The number of employees in the federation is about 160 people. Of these, approximately 50 are full-time employees and 110 are part-time employees.
At the beginning of 2025, SÖRF entered a new organization, which includes adapting routines and working methods to new conditions. The work will continue into 2026, and there will therefore be good opportunities to be involved in developing the organization to meet future challenges and opportunities.
About the Position
As an administrator with us, you will work with various administrative tasks and serve as support for both management and other employees. Your main tasks will be related to financial management, such as customer and supplier invoicing, as well as reporting data to the finance department.
You will also work with the management of the federation. This includes coordinating, administering, and supporting preparatory work between the federation's political level and officials, in close collaboration with the rescue chief.
You will act as secretary at meetings and provide good service to our politicians.

Tasks
- Handling incoming matters and correspondence
- Documentation and archiving
- Preparation and follow-up of matters related to the management of the federation.
- Secretary at meetings related to the management of the federation.
- Invoice management, customer and supplier invoicing
- Other administrative tasks as needed
If you possess additional relevant skills or experience, there may be opportunities for you to take on other tasks within the framework of the organization's needs.
Qualifications
We are looking for an engaged and development-oriented person who is willing to actively contribute to the federation's continued development. Personal qualities such as the ability to take initiative, curiosity, and clarity will be important in the selection process.
To thrive and function well in the role, good communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as organized administrative skills are required. You find it easy to drive and plan your own work while also collaborating easily with colleagues and working in teams.
The following qualifications are considered advantageous:
- Have a high school or post-secondary education in finance
- Have previous experience of similar administrative work or as a finance assistant.
- Experience in administrative work within municipal administration is advantageous
- Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
- Good computer skills (e.g., Office suite)
- Meticulous, structured, and responsible
