Our Operations

The Supervision area consists of six units with a total of approximately 180 employees. We work with supervision in several areas of responsibility covering pharmaceuticals, medical devices, cosmetic products, and tattoo inks. The area is also responsible for the Medical Products Agency's environmental management and sustainability efforts. Within the Supervision staff, there is an ongoing need to drive and coordinate both government assignments and cross-unit development activities and other types of assignments conducted in project form. We now need to hire for a temporary position during approximately one year of leave.

Your Responsibilities

Your main task and responsibility is to operationally drive, coordinate, and participate in various work that often takes place in cross-functional working groups. These may be assembled to investigate government assignments that usually involve several units, to carry out activities that concern several parts of the operations, or to respond to referrals and questions that come to the authority. What you are primarily expected to work with is project management of two ongoing government assignments concerning preparedness in the pharmacy area and welfare crime related to pharmacies. You are expected to plan, drive, facilitate, and follow up on the work, as well as compile plans, reports, and other materials both orally and in writing. Collaboration at various levels and with different parts of the Medical Products Agency as well as externally is an important part of your work. You report to the director of the operational area.

Your Background

We are looking for someone with relevant academic education for the operations, which means competence in pharmaceuticals, medical technology, or similar. You have several years of work experience that falls within or is closely related to the responsibilities of the Medical Products Agency. Experience from working within a government authority, project management or coordination, as well as supervisory activities is meritorious. The work requires you to express yourself well in both spoken and written form, in both Swedish and English.

Your Personal Qualities

You enjoy working both independently and in a group, can build good relationships, and inspire others. You take initiative and have a good ability to carry out and drive activities to completion. You are pedagogical, can lead groups towards a common goal, and have strong communication skills. We place great importance on personal suitability.
