Logistics Officer at Boden Artillery Regiment

Combat Unit Department, KF-department

As a logistics officer at Boden Artillery Regiment, you will belong to the combat unit department, which is part of the Combat Unit Unit, responsible for supporting the regiment's combat unit commanders. The combat unit department administers the part-time serving and conscript personnel of the combat units and supports the combat units in planning, conducting, and reporting training and exercises. The task also includes supporting the planning department with long-term plans for the maintenance of the combat units.

Main Responsibilities

As a logistics officer, you will help start up the Combat Unit Unit, which means that the position will initially focus on developing routines and working methods.

Your tasks will include:

  • managing materials in the Armed Forces' systems such as PRIO (SAP), Lift, and Matilda
  • preparing and compiling decision-making materials
  • developing routines and process descriptions within logistics
  • managing statistics and register maintenance
  • ordering materials and food
  • participating in inventory
  • practically participating in material handling

You will also provide administrative and practical support within the combat unit, which means solving arising tasks.

To meet the Armed Forces' requirements for physical standards, physical training is included as part of your duties.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Education in logistics from a university or equivalent education/experience as assessed by the employer
  • Driving license B

Personal Qualities

As a person, you are independent and proactive, while also being a good team player. You drive your work forward and have the ability to work solution-focused. You have good analytical skills.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

MERITORIOUS

  • Experience working in logistics systems
  • Previous experience working in LIFT and PRIO
  • Completed military service

Employment type: permanent. The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those not employed by the authority.
Employment rate: full-time
Workplace: Boden
Start date: September 1, or by agreement.
Working hours: primarily daytime 07:30-16:30, evening and weekend work may occur.
The position is civilian and involves a military placement.
Internal training and travel may occur.

Boden Artillery Regiment, A 8, is the Armed Forces' competence center for indirect combat. The regiment preserves and develops competencies, materials, and methods for the future capability to detect and hit targets at long distances with high precision. A 8 has functional responsibility for CAS (Close Air Support) - to lead air support against ground targets and for the weather service within the Army in the Armed Forces. Combat in winter conditions is a special competence for the unit in Boden.
