The Role of ST-Doctor

We are looking for an ST-doctor in general medicine. The position is a permanent employment at 100%, but the degree of employment can be discussed according to your wishes. Start date by agreement. Even if you have not yet completed your AT training, you are welcome to apply.

As an ST-doctor at Bra Liv Vråen Health Center, you will work alongside several other dedicated ST-doctors and experienced specialists in general medicine. All doctors at the health center are passionate about helping new colleagues into primary care work, which means you will be well taken care of.

The work at the health center is varied with planned and acute patient visits. As you get into the work, child health care, participation in special accommodations, and some on-call shifts at the Emergency Care Center will also be included. For us, continuity is important, which is why you will primarily meet your own patients. We actively work with triage and collaboration with other professions to develop the operations and use our resources in the best way.

For those who will do basic training (BT) at the beginning of your ST, a temporary employment may initially be relevant with the aim of the employment transitioning to a permanent position. Your Future Workplace

Bra Liv Vråen Health Center works for a patient-oriented, stable, and efficient primary care clinic. The health center has about 12,400 listed residents and we are part of Bra Liv Health Centers. We have a common organization and close cooperation with Rydaholm Health Center. Värnamo is a beautiful and quiet town where the Lagan river flows gently by. The town offers most of what one can wish for in a small town, such as restaurants, shops, culture, and sports facilities. About 22,500 residents live in the central area and about 34,600 in the municipality. It is easy to get around as there are good opportunities for both cycling, driving, and public transport.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a Swedish medical license and good knowledge of the Swedish language (at least C1 level).
• Can work independently but also together with different professional groups.
• Is engaged and responsible and understands the importance of good communication.
• Is flexible and wants to develop and improve the operations together with us.
• Takes in new knowledge and can function as a knowledge resource for your colleagues.
• Can adapt your work, communication, and approach based on the patient and situation.
• Through good cooperation with management and colleagues, wants to contribute to creating participation and a good work environment.

As an ST-doctor, your ST planning is done in collaboration between you, your supervisor, the head of the department, and the study director. With us, you will receive continuous guidance from experienced colleagues. ST-doctors in the healthcare area meet regularly with the study director. We are very proud of our ST program.
