Avarn is now looking for an IT Specialist in Operations and Alarms who wants to work operationally with the operation, troubleshooting, and development of the alarm center's IT environment. The role is technically demanding and close to operations, focusing on integrations, networks, SQL, and stable data flows.

Professionals Nord is seeking an IT specialist in collaboration with Avarn. The position is a direct recruitment, meaning you will be employed directly by Avarn. Job Responsibilities

You will work operationally in a mission-critical, on-premises environment with approximately 140 VM servers and redundancy solutions. The role involves advanced troubleshooting and technical responsibility in a complex system environment where stability and data quality are crucial.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Analyze and address complex system problems in depth – identify root causes and ensure long-term sustainable solutions
• Work with SQL for troubleshooting and quality assurance of raw data in systems where data logic is business-critical
• Manage and optimize Windows Server environments (2012–2021)
• Work with AD, GPO, and network-related configurations (VPN/IPSEC)
• Contribute to upcoming system migrations and major server upgrades
• Participate in on-call and standby duties

The role involves close collaboration with the business and the IT team, where you are expected to take technical ownership of the issues you handle.

We are looking for someone who

• Has at least 4 years of broad IT experience in operations, infrastructure, or advanced support
• Good experience with Windows Server (2012–2021)
• Very good knowledge of SQL and the ability to troubleshoot at the data level
• Experience with Active Directory and GPO
• Experience with VPN/IPSEC
• Understanding of networks and infrastructure (firewall, router, switch)
• Experience troubleshooting in complex system environments

It is a merit if you have worked with CCTV environments or in a 24/7 operation.
