THIS IS WHAT YOU DO WITH US

As the continuity manager at RIX, you play a central role in ensuring that the Riksbank can maintain its critical operations in all situations. The work in the payment area broadly involves continuity work, operational incident and crisis management, as well as analyzing risks and vulnerabilities to identify and implement measures required to strengthen resilience. Since RIX is a system of crucial importance to the Swedish payment infrastructure, the system's availability is very important.

You are responsible for leading and driving the organization's work in the continuity area together with your colleagues, which means that you:

• Lead and coordinate the incident organization
• Plan and lead internal and external scenario exercises
• Train and participate in various forums internally as well as externally, where communication primarily takes place in English
• Work with internal preparedness and thus internal collaboration
• Develop continuity plans based on the organization's needs
• Participate in various investigations and projects within the bank where you contribute your expertise

Future challenges include ensuring that the RIX system and operations are adapted to the requirements of the organization and the external environment together with colleagues. The position also includes scheduled incident preparedness. Participation in the incident organization involves being on call 24/7 according to a rotating schedule.

YOUR TEAM

The Riksbank consists of nine departments. The Payments Department is tasked with providing a payment system for the settlement of payments in Sweden, supplying the country with cash, and working with payment analysis and innovation. The RIX operations are divided into three units: the RIX Operations unit, the RIX Management unit, and the RIX Business Development unit, all of which are part of the Payments Department. MORE ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree for the position, e.g., in economics, political science with a focus on crisis preparedness, or related fields. You have experience in continuity work or in operations that involve operational incident management or crisis management and preparedness. You have work experience in the payment area and a good understanding of how the payment system in Sweden is structured. Experience working in a government agency is an advantage. Knowledge of the RIX system or other critical societal systems is also an advantage.

It is particularly important for the role that you have an interest in leading and collaborating with others. You have the ability to grasp complex issues in a natural and straightforward way and adapt your communication depending on the audience.

You are a stable and mature person with good judgment who is driven to deliver high quality. You work in a structured manner and are skilled at presenting and communicating your message. You are proactive, flexible, and can easily adapt to new circumstances and see opportunities in changes. You are good at independently driving your tasks forward, both individually and together with others. Furthermore, you have a problem-solving analytical ability and are good at collaborating and are stimulated by cooperation with others. You have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English. Great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.

Working hours: Fixed working hours
Possibility to work remotely: 1 or 2 days a week
