The Capital Supply Unit develops knowledge about and works with capital supply issues. We participate in the implementation of the EU's regional fund with a focus on financing opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises in Sweden. We finance both regional and national venture capital funds, all aimed at increasing access to financing where the market otherwise falls short. We analyze market needs and propose measures that promote sustainable development in all parts of the country. The unit also drives initiatives to promote the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises and is responsible for the authority's programs and initiatives within green transition and innovation.

About the position

In this recruitment, we are looking for two employees where one of the roles will focus on analysis and knowledge development and the other will focus on the implementation and development of financing instruments.

We are looking for employees for our highly qualified team that works with the development and management of Tillväxtverket's financing instruments and develops knowledge, policy, and future initiatives in the area of capital supply. Here you will have varied tasks and good opportunities for development in the role.

As a qualified officer with a focus on capital supply, you will independently and as part of a team contribute to the implementation of the funds that Tillväxtverket is responsible for. You will have ongoing dialogue with fund managers, participate in internal development work, and continuously contribute to a more efficient implementation of the financing instruments as well as follow up, evaluate, and communicate the results of our work. You will develop knowledge about companies' capital supply needs, conduct analyses, and contribute to policy development. You will actively follow EU regulations focusing on financing instruments and based on the needs of the business, initiate, drive, and develop strategic issues at regional, national, and European levels.

Travel is included in the position.

Your workplace will be at one of the following offices: Arjeplog, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, or Östersund.

We are looking for you who have:

  • A degree from a university or college, preferably in one of the following areas: economics, political science, law, or engineering.
  • Current experience in case handling, policy development, or analysis and investigation work in a relevant area for the position.
  • Several years of knowledge in the field of capital supply, for example through experience from the financial market such as fund management, financing through venture capital, or other financing.
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form.

The following are meritorious:

  • Established networks and/or good knowledge of the business promotion system, growth-promoting actors, as well as regions and regional innovation and business promotion systems.
  • Experience of EU work within, for example, European regional cohesion policy, European research and innovation efforts, or the industrial policy area.

As a person, we are looking for someone who is analytical and at the same time results-oriented. You have the ability to see the big picture, can quickly understand different types of material, and ensure the delivery of complex documentation.

As a person, you are unpretentious, open, and receptive, have the ability to take initiative, and possess excellent collaboration skills. You have a professional communication style, are quality-conscious, and focus on the utility of the business.
