The Health and Care Administration, with its approximately 1500 employees, is one of the administrations in the city of Mölndal and encompasses elderly care, support for individuals with disabilities, and health care.

ACTivera is a 24-week health-promoting initiative. The target group is individuals aged 16-64 years with long-term absence from the labor market. The initiative prepares participants to take the next step towards employment or education. We work both individually and in groups with a focus on strengthening participants' physical and mental health. ACTivera is funded by the Coordination Association Insjöriket and is operated by the Health and Care Administration together with the Social and Labor Market Administration. We are now looking for a new temporary colleague who wants to join our experienced and competent team!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an employment specialist within ACTivera, you will meet individuals in need of support to get closer to the labor market. In this role, you will work with colleagues to conduct ACT courses (managing stress and promoting health), physical training, job preparation group activities, and other health-promoting activities. You will also have the opportunity to help shape and develop the ACTivera Mölndal program.

The task involves finding personal solutions for participants within the framework of the initiative. We use BIP/SKAPA to measure participants' progression. The position includes planning, follow-up with participants and partners, individual conversations, and leading group activities. Your role is to motivate participants to take responsibility for their own lives and their path forward.

You will work in a team with other professionals, and together you will provide the best possible support for each individual’s needs. It is very much about strengthening health both physically and mentally and activating participants through increased activity levels. Our assignments come from the Social Insurance Agency, health care, schools, social services, and the Employment Service.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant higher education in social work and health, e.g., behavioral scientist or social worker, or other equivalent education deemed suitable by the employer
• Experience in meeting individuals with mental and physical health issues, as well as experience in work-oriented rehabilitation
• Knowledge of and experience collaborating with employers, authorities, and other stakeholders
• Experience in social documentation
• Knowledge in low-arousal approaches
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you have:

• Knowledge and experience in MI (motivational interviewing)
• Knowledge and experience in ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy)
• Knowledge and experience in BIP
• Knowledge in NPF and other disabilities
• Driver's license (B)

In your work, you are a good educator and can provide individual support and guidance. As a person, you are unpretentious, have good collaborative skills, and can also work independently. You are comfortable in one-on-one conversations with participants, as well as leading group activities. Your working style is characterized by structure and clarity.
